Mandevilla are versatile plants. You can enjoy them as they are or you can influence how they grow. It’s all possible!
you can decide where you want to plant it and how much water you give it. Mandevillas planted in full sun will produce more flowers, while those planted in partial sun will grow faster. In addition to the location, watering frequency also influences how your Mandevilla grows. If you always keep the soil moist, your plant will grow faster. The less you water it, the less quickly it will grow.
Want to help your Mandevilla grow and thrive? Great! We grow our larger Mandevillas using bamboo racks or stakes. When they’re ‘full’, the plant will stop growing. You can expand your rack with our Mandevilla climbing set. With this set, you can determine the shape. If the plant has something to grow up against, it will grow even faster!

If you want your Mandevilla to grow taller or longer, use our bamboo stakes. You can secure them vertically to the plant rack using two large clips. Make sure you overlap the bamboo rack by about 10 cm.
Use the small clips to secure the branches to the stakes. When it comes to shaping your plant, feel free to get creative!
Mandevillas are quite stubborn and like to cling to things, be it a drainpipe, a fence or an offshoot of the same plant. It can be fun to let your Mandevilla do its thing and see where it goes. You can also take matters into your own hands and guide your Mandevilla. Just remember to always twist offshoots counter-clockwise from the top, otherwise they’ll twist back again. We told you it was a stubborn plant!
