”Mandevillas are known for being low-maintenance, but the right fertiliser can help you get the most out of your plant. Mandevillas love fertiliser, both liquid and solid, so why not treat yours to a little something extra?”

There are two types of fertiliser to choose from: organic and inorganic. Inorganic fertiliser is made from synthetic chemicals. Organic fertiliser are plant- and animal-based (e.g. cow manure pellets).
Feel free to use synthetic fertiliser for your Mandevilla. We recommend using 15 to 20 grams per 10 litres once every two weeks.
Our preferred brand is Osmocote, controlled-release fertiliser granules that work all season long. Effective and convenient! We’ve already added Osmocote to our special Mandevilla potting soil. We also sell Mandevilla fertiliser cones in our webshop. Simply add these to the soil. If you want to fertilise a pot or planter with several plants, we recommend the following dosage:
There are plenty of organic plant- and animal-based fertilisers to choose from, many of which are enriched with inorganic fertilisers to ensure the right balance of nutrients. You can also use compost or granulated cow manure as a basic fertiliser for your Mandevilla. For example: add a small handful to your pot every six weeks. We recommend combining this with inorganic fertiliser with the following schedule: week 1: organic fertiliser; week 3: inorganic fertiliser; week 5: inorganic fertiliser; week 7: organic fertiliser.
